Collector Pressure Lab is free, open-source software provided under the MIT License. By using it, you agree that pressure experiments are synthetic and are not production capacity guarantees.

Safe use

Run the CLI only against systems you own or are authorized to test. Use an isolated local Collector. You are responsible for the traffic rates, sample contents, endpoint override, and any effects on connected systems. Do not include secrets or personal data in fixtures.

No automatic advice

Classifications and tuning hypotheses are experimental evidence, not a promise of availability or professional advice. Review Collector documentation and validate changes under controlled conditions. The tool never applies configuration changes.

No warranty

The software and website are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. The MIT License in the source repository controls distribution of the software.

Project identity

Collector Pressure Lab is independent of the OpenTelemetry project and its maintainers. OpenTelemetry names describe interoperability and do not imply endorsement.
